About Me
I am currently a student at Colorado State University, studying neuropsychology and human behavior as an undergraduate.
Why?
Everybody thinks. Everybody uses their brain each and every second of their lives. The abilities of the brain are incomprehensible. Neuropsychology is the study of the physical brain and how its system leads to psychological activity. It’s the bridge between neurology and psychology. No matter how much you think you know, there’s always so much more you can learn.
About Me
This is what I love about psychology. With every twist and turn, I'm learning about a new part of the brain and its functions. After understanding the brain, we’re taught how to understand the real-world effects it has. Everything from mental health and emotions to social understanding, and how people can lead a genocide. Learning how the societal underpinnings of the world work is like learning a whole other language. I hope to understand neuropsychology well enough to educate others. I would love to work in the psychology of religion and study the cognitive processes of our ancestors, but I hope to understand my purpose as I further my education.
Archaeology
I am currently taking ANTH-140 with Mr. Labelle and AGRI-116 with Dr. Norton. These classes are teaching me the basics of human development and the choices they have made throughout history and human development. Mr. LaBelle is very knowledgeable when it comes to evolution; he is always looking for ways to tie archaeology into religion. This mindset sparked the idea for this website.
